Taleggio is a municipality in the province of Bergamo in the Lombardy region. The municipality comprises several small hamlets, with the village of Sottochiesa serving as the administrative centre.

Between the village of San Giovanni Bianco to the east, the SP 25 road runs westwards for just under 9 km. In San Giovanni Bianco, this road branches off the main SS470 road to the west and then runs mostly through the steeply cut valley of the River Enna as far as Sottochiesa.

On this road, there is also a particularly narrow section to pass through in the gorge; the so-called ‘Orrido della Val Taleggio’. However, the road is mostly dual-carriageway, very well maintained and generally easy to drive on. The route is very popular with cyclists, so particular care should be taken.

The road is located in the Italian province of Bergamo, in the Lombardy region.
