Description

he approximately 9 km long road lies in Switzerland in the canton of Graubünden and connects the towns of Bonaduz and Versam on the south side of the so-called Vorderrheintal. The well-developed road leads from Bonaduz steadily uphill to the west. After 4 km the road becomes narrower, more twisty and a bit coarser. It leads here, partly carved out of the rock, along the very steep Rhine valley to the newly built bridge Versamertobel. The old bridge runs parallel and is still passable for pedestrians. Behind the bridge there are many serpentines on the again very well developed road further uphill to Versam.

This route belongs to the so-called "Swiss Balcony Roads".
