Gorges du Cians, Road D28, Maritime Alps, France – by motorcycle

Description

In north-south direction, the D28 road runs for a total of 21 km from Notre-Dame / Touët-sur-Var in the south to Beuil in the north through the Gorges du Cians. The gorge is divided into two sections, which begin and end in the middle of the gorge at Pra d'Astier. The northern part, more barren and rocky, is called Gorges Supérieures du Cians (Upper Gorge). The southern part below Pra d'Astier is called Gorges Inférieures du Cians (Lower Gorge). The film shows the 13 km long upper part of the gorge from Pra d'Astier to Beuil. The road is located in the province Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur and there in the department Alpes-Maritimes / Maritime Alps.
