Description
About 4 km west of Saint-Hippolyte-du-Fort, the secondary road D296 branches off to the north from the main road D999. First, it goes to the village of La Cadière-et-Cambo, which is reached after only a few 100 meters, then continues to the village of Cambo, which is located even further north. In doing so, a small mountain range is crossed, which was dug by the Argentesse River. The road passes on the west side of the river. The road is well-maintained and easy to drive on if you are careful. The road is located in the department of Gard and there in the region of Occitania.
This route belongs to the so-called "French Balcony Roads".
