Description

The road D212 leads from Lanet via Montjoi to Vignevieille and then further east. The stretch from Lanet to Vignevieille is about 10.5 km long. The road crosses the Gorges de l'Orbieu and runs mostly along the west or north side of the river. The section with the most curves is cut out of the rock and supported by walls against the river. The road is easy to drive on the whole, although rockfall is to be expected in some places. The road is located in the region of Occitania and there in the department of Aude.
