Description

The D70 road connects the villages of Saou in the Roubion Valley in the south and Aouste-sur-Sye in the Drôme Valley in the north over a distance of just under 12 km.

The highest point of the journey is the Col du Pas de Lauzun at around 504 meters. About 1 km further northeast is the Pas de Lauzun narrows at approximately 416 meters above sea level. These narrows are also known as Pas de Lauzens.

The entire road is paved and easy to drive on. Only the narrow passage is somewhat unclear; special attention should be paid to oncoming traffic here.

The road is located in the Drôme department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.
