Description
The ascent (D77B) to the Col du Chaussy (1532) begins in Pontamafrey with a spectacular serpentine route (Les Lacets de Montvernier), which overcomes over 400 metres of altitude to the village of Montvernier. The drive over this serpentine route to Col de Chaussy was part of the Tour de France several times. The route is a challenge and very popular with cyclists and motorcyclists.
