Description
The LV9124 road runs for about 15 km from Puente de Montañana to Sant Esteve de la Sarga. From there it continues for about 18 km until it reaches the C13 road. From Puente de Montañana, the road first heads south until it reaches the northern tip of the Pantà de Canelles reservoir, only about 2 km north of the Congost de Mont-rebei mountain pass. Here the road turns east and continues to the village of Alsamora. Alsamora is known for its medieval fortress and the preserved watchtower, Torre d'Alsamora. The road here runs through a valley, which is bordered by some steep slopes to the north. From Alsamora to Sant Esteve there is then a little more than 3 km to cover. The first half of the route is well-maintained and generally easy to drive. In the second half, the road becomes increasingly worse. Many potholes, some of them quite deep, must be expected. The route is located in the province of Lleida, in the Catalonia region.
